For Windows 10 users, in order to be able to determine if your computer can run OpenBots Studio, type “About your PC” into the search bar next to the Windows button at the button of your screen and select the top result. This will open the settings and will allow you to determine if you have enough RAM. Most modern computers should have more than enough RAM to run the program.

If you don’t know, RAM is short for Random Access Memory. Think of it as your computer’s short-term memory that it uses to store (remember) the data for all of the programs currently running on a device so that the device can easily access the data whenever it needs to. This allows the device to run multiple programs at once and be able to access the necessary data very quickly. However, RAM is known as “volatile” memory, meaning that once the program closes, the RAM deletes any information that it was carrying. This is why computers and other devices need other storage mediums, like hard drives, to store your information.
