Objective

The objective of this How-To guide is to assist the users in creating a data table along with adding and removing values from it in Openbots Studio. Most processes require utilization of data tables to input data and to attach that data to the process requirement document.

Walkthrough

The following are the steps involved in creating, adding, and removing data from data table in Openbots Studio. It is a procedure that involves click level operations from the DataTable command list.

Step 1: To create a new blank data table with the required columns, select the Create DataTable command from the list of commands under DataTable. The user will define the instance name of the data table along with specifying the columns.

  • Enter the alias name of the new data table (Table1)
  • Enter the column names as per requirement (ID, Name, Age, State)
  • Click OK

Step 2: After creating the structure of the data table, add data into it. Use the Add Data row command to fill in the data table with appropriate data. Repeat this process 4-5 times (user choice) to fill in considerable amount of data. User can also load data from any other existing data table.

  • Select Add DataRow Command
  • Enter the Data table instance name (Table1)
  • Input values for different columns in the data table in the prescribed order. (ID, Name, Age, State)
